WAS AND WERE

 

-Miriam: Hey David! How is it going?

-David: great! You?

-Miriam: Good! I was at your house yesterday, but you weren’t there.

-David: Sorry, I was outside.

-Miriam: Where were you?

-David: my brother and I were at our grandmother’s house. We had dinner and then we watched a movie.

-Miriam: Oh I am so sorry, I forget it. How was the dinner?

-David: It was nice. It was incredible. We were happy.

-Miriam: I so happy for you all. How was the movie?

-David: It was really good.

-Miriam: What was the movie about?

-David: it was about Freddy Krueger.

-Miriam: OMG! It wasn´t scary, was it?

-David: Yes, it was.

-Miriam: were you scary?

David: I wasn't, but my brother and gramma were.
